An actor who thinks in images

Some performances are acted; the best are designed. Adrian partners with directors from pre-production — building character look-books, cutting private mood reels, and shaping silhouette, palette, and posture long before the first fitting.

On Neon Parish he developed the Voss look alongside the costume department — thrifted wool, rain-worn leather, a haircut that reads at fifty paces in neon. The result was a protagonist the camera recognized before he ever spoke.

“He arrived with a look-book, a walk, and three ways to wear the coat. The character was designed, not just played.”
